L’étude de la régime alimentaire de Tmethis maroccanus dans la région de Naâma réalisée dans trois stations à savoir Mécheria, Ben Amar et la zone humide classée par Ramsar; Aïn Ben Khelil au cours de la période à partir de Août 2013 à Août 2014, montre que parmi les 32 espèces végétales présentes dans le biotope, 5 plantes seulement ont été ingérées Stipa tenacissima, Lygeum spartum, Atractylis humilis, Picris sp, Ziziphus lotus, … La suite
